Pip was rescued in 2021 as part of a group of 15 ponies that had all been neglected, un-loved and left to defend for themselves. She didn't have the best start to her young life, but once at HorseWorld she slowly began to trust humans and soon realised that she was safe.

Pip on arrival
She spent a few years growing up at HorseWorld and blossomed into a sweet, friendly mare. In 2024, HorseWorld started looking for a home for Pip as a pony with potential. As expected, she had lots of rehoming interest, and after a home visit check - she was ready to go and live with her new family.
Pip's rehomer, Abby says: "I was looking for a horse that my daughter could grow with and something that could be a part of the family forever. I didn’t need a world class eventer just something that needed loving and would be loving back. A friend suggested trying to look at charities. When I was much younger, I visited HorseWorld so I initially thought of them. When I saw Pip’s description on her rehoming ad, it fitted with exactly what I was looking for. Georgia and the team have been excellent and such a great help. Pip settled in immediately and is now part of the family!"

Pip with her new family
"Pip has settled in beautifully. It’s hard to remember that she’s only 4 years old because she is not fazed by anything. She loves our other horse, dogs and finds the cows very interesting. She is a real gem. Very happy and easy to do!
"We are slowly doing little bits of work with her like long reigning, in-hand walks and my daughter has even sat on her for the first time! The plan is turn her into a lovely lead rein pony with the idea being that her size and build will be perfect for my daughter for many years to come. We also have lots of kids in the family, so we have been socialising Pip to become the ultimate family pony. She’s never going to have a hard life, just one with lots of fuss and love and maybe a gymkhana or two! Thank you so much for trusting me with Pip, we absolutely love her!"
