Calypso was rescued in July 2019 after being illegally grazed on council land. She came in as a foal at foot with her mum, Epona, who was also pregnant at the time.

Demi came to HorseWorld in 2005 with another mare as her previous owners were struggling to care for them. Demi was difficult to catch, so the previous owners had left a headcollar on her which was too small and became embedded in her nose.

Einstein was part of a rescue in 2012 involving a group of 12 ponies that had been abandoned in a barn. When he arrived at HorseWorld he was very emaciated and suffering from Salmonella and Strangles.
