Fundraising Rug and Tack Sale raises vital funds for rescued horses

Our recent Fundraising Rug and Tack Sale was a fantastic success, raising a total of £1,610.92 to support over 100 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys currently living at HorseWorld. 

Held on Saturday, the event brought together supporters, volunteers, and members of the local community for a morning of shopping, socialising, and learning more about our rescue and rehoming work.

A wide range of donated second-hand rugs, tack, and equestrian equipment was on offer, with every purchase helping to raise vital funds for horses in need.

As well as raising money, the event provided a great opportunity to promote rehoming and chat with visitors about the horses and ponies currently looking for new homes. Our team enjoyed plenty of friendly conversations throughout the day, sharing stories and advice about rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming.

“This sale wasn’t just about fundraising,” said Head of Supporter Development, Lizy Kacou. “It was about connecting with the community, raising awareness of our work, and finding new ways to support the horses and ponies who rely on us.”

The funds raised will go directly towards the care, rehabilitation, and rehoming of horses rescued from neglect or hardship.
