Meet Jemima

Jemima came to HorseWorld in 2011 with Popsy and Barnaby as an attraction for our Visitor Centre. When our Visitor Centre closed in 2014, she went out on loan with her bonded donkey friend, Popsy. They both returned to HorseWorld in 2024 through no fault of their own and settled into our donkey herd. Jemima is one of the shyer donkeys and gains confidence from the support of her herd. She is a beautiful grey donkey with distinctive zebra-like stripes on her legs — a feature that makes her easy to spot among the others! She has recently joined our Discovery team, where her sweet and gentle nature shines as she works patiently with our more nervous students.
