Three Best Friends Seeking a Forever Home Together

Meet Cocoa, Ravello, and Lavender—a bonded trio of donkeys looking for a fresh start. This sweet group came to us when their previous owners retired from farming and sold their farm, and since they’ve spent their time at HorseWorld becoming healthier and happier. The trio are now ready for a new home with someone experienced with donkeys and with the right set up to continue their careful weight management plans.

• Lavender (19): The gentle matriarch and mum to Cocoa. She’s the eldest and the sweetheart of the group. Lavender enjoys a regular groom and is easy to handle, just needing a supportive approach for picking up her feet as she can be unbalanced due to her age and confirmation.
• Cocoa (10): A handsome "chocolate" bay gelding. He’s friendly and brave, though he likes a confident hand during vet visits. Cocoa particularly needs to continue with his weight loss journey as still has significant fat pads.
• Ravello (13): A sensitive grey soul who has blossomed from a nervous lad into a companion who truly values a kind, empathetic approach. Ravello is the most active of the three and loves running and playing with Cocoa.

They are inseparable best friends who do everything together so we are looking for a home that can take them as a trio. They require a "diet-conscious" lifestyle such as a track system or poor quality/restricted grazing to manage their weight and keep them healthy. They will also need a permanent shelter to access along with an ad lib supply of barley straw and hedgerows to browse. In return, you’ll get three braying greetings every morning!
