Meet Angel

Angel came to HorseWorld in 2024 due to a very sad situation leaving her loving owner unable to care for her. Since arriving at HorseWorld the team have taken time to assess and get to know Angel, and feel that she is now ready to find a new home as a non-ridden companion.

Angel is a very beautiful 10-year-old grey standardbred mare standing at 15hh. She is non-ridden due to mild kissing spine and she also suffers with uveitis which has resulted in poor vision in her left eye. Because of this, we are looking for a quiet home for Angel with a consistent routine and environment. Over the summer months Angel needs to wear a protective fly mask to protect her eyes from further UV damage - she is good for this to be put on. Potentially due to her sight, Angel can find moving around in new places quite stressful, so she is looking for a quiet home where she can become familiar with and settled in her surroundings.

Currently, Angel is living out 24/7 in a mixed herd. She generally gets along well with other horses but is best suited living with equines of a similar size. Angel has held her condition at HorseWorld and has only needed extra hay rations over the winter. Once she knows the lay of the land/environment she is settled and enjoys attention. She can be stabled but isn't currently stabled as routine.

This gorgeous girl would make a loving companion for a quiet home where she can enjoy a routine and be pampered.
