HorseWorld Annual Review 2025
2025 was a year of growing demand, increasing complexity, and significant impact.
Across our equine welfare and Discovery programmes, we responded to more horses in crisis and supported more young people facing challenges than ever before. We investigated 720 welfare concerns, rescued 46 horses, cared for 302 equines, and supported 270 children and young people through our Discovery programme.
Our 2025 Annual Review tells the stories behind those numbers – from horses rescued from neglect and abandonment to young people rebuilding confidence, reconnecting with education, and discovering new possibilities for the future. It also explores the unique role rescued horses play in helping young people thrive, and how HorseWorld is working to protect horses by giving them a meaningful role in the modern world.
