Meet Peepo Waipiro

Peepo Waipiro (Peepo) was a successful racehorse, he was a Royal Ascot winner and even went to Hong Kong during his career. He was retired due to bilateral SDFT injuries and came to HorseWorld in 2025. He is a 6 y/o 16hh handsome bright bay with white markings.

Peepo is looking for a home as a non ridden companion due to his previous injuries and kissing spines. He is a very sweet, friendly horse with a kind character. He is currently living out 24/7 with a rug and shelter in winter but will happily come into a stable with company next to him. He has white legs and is prone to mud fever, so over winter could suit a stabling routine to manage this. Ideally, he would suit a home experienced with Thoroughbreds.

He is very good to catch, handle, groom, and for the vet and farrier. He gets on very well with other geldings and settles well into a herd of horses. He is happy and playful with horses of all ages and types. Peepo hasn't been turned out with mares since being at HorseWorld, but has been next to mares over the fence and next to them in the stable. He doesn't require his weight watching or grazing restricted so would be best suited to a home with other horses with similar needs. Currently he isn’t on a hard feed, just needing hay or haylage to supplement his diet as needed. He doesn't like being left on his own, so requires a home where he will always have company of another equine. If you can offer Peepo a home, please apply online.
