Volunteering for HorseWorld

We are very grateful to all of our volunteers who give their valuable time and energy to helping with our work.

HorseWorld’s volunteers assist with specific activities and events such as our Open Day events, including preparing welcome packs, running stalls, making cakes and refreshments, greeting visitors and helping with car parking. We also seek volunteers to help with external events. For further details about volunteering at events please contact 01275 893030.

Keynes Farm is home to around 100 horses and ponies, most of which are rescued from neglect and abuse, so unfortunately we are unable to have volunteers assisting with the training and rehabilitation work, as this is carried out by trained staff.

HorseWorld also provides placements for veterinary students based in the Bristol area with previous equine experience. For further details about volunteer placements please email Volunteer@horseworld.org.uk or ring 01275 893035. Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to be able to provide school and college work experience placements at this time.

Volunteers are required to be over the age of 18.

For details on how HorseWorld Trust collects and uses the personal data of volunteers please read our Privacy Policy for volunteers, interns and work experience students: http://www.horseworld.org.uk/support-us/volunteer-privacy-policy/
