Horace the HorseWorld MascotBecome a HorseWorld Hero today!

HorseWorld has been saving the lives of mistreated equines since 1952. Our team works around-the-clock to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home horses, ponies and donkeys that have been abandoned, neglected, injured or abused within the South-West of England and Wales.

By becoming a HorseWorld Hero, you too can help us to change the lives of hundreds of animals in need of our care.

“One minute, one hour, half a day, a whole day, one week: your time is priceless to the equines in our care. By joining our super volunteer team you can help us to raise awareness of our charity, raise money to help care for the horses, learn new skills, meet new friends and become part of our volunteer community.

So, what’s stopping you?

Volunteering, Placements and Students

We are very grateful to all of our volunteers who give their valuable time and energy to helping with our work.

HorseWorld’s volunteers assist with specific activities and events such as our Open Day events, including preparing welcome packs, running stalls, making cakes and refreshments, greeting visitors and helping with car parking. We also seek volunteers to help with external events. For further details about volunteering at events please email info@horseworld.org.uk or call 01275 832425.

Keynes Farm is home to around 100 horses and ponies, most of which are rescued from neglect and abuse, so unfortunately we are unable to have volunteers assisting with the training and rehabilitation work, as this is carried out by trained staff.

HorseWorld also provides placements for veterinary students based in the Bristol area with previous equine experience. For further details about volunteer placements please email info@horseworld.org.uk or ring 01275 832425.

Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to be able to provide school and college work experience placements at this time.

All volunteers are required to be over the age of 18.

For details on how HorseWorld Trust collects and uses the personal data of volunteers please read our Privacy Policy for volunteers, interns and work experience students: http://www.horseworld.org.uk/support-us/volunteer-privacy-policy/
