We know that you never fail to give less than 100% when it comes to helping horses in need, and given a fundraising challenge you’ve got hundreds of ideas...
So we know you’re going to do us proud as part of Captain Tom 100 – a brilliant celebration of the legendary Captain Sir Tom Moore which will also help us to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home more vulnerable horses and ponies.
Since his death earlier this year, Captain Sir Tom Moore has continued to inspire the nation. He would have been 101 years old on Friday 30th April so to mark the occasion his family have created this event – Captain Tom 100 – to ensure that his legacy lives on.
The idea is a simple one: just think of something that you could be sponsored for, based around the number 100, and do the event between Friday 30th April and Monday 3rd May.
We’ve got some suggestions but you can do absolutely anything. There really are no limits – just include the number 100 and start planning! You could...
- Ride or walk 100 laps of your arena or paddock.
- Pick up 100 pony poos from fields of your fellow pony-owners.
- Brush your pony’s tail 100 times.
- Perfect your plaiting: Could you create 100 perfect mane plaits?
- Ssshhh! Could you be silent for 100 minutes?
- Picture perfect: Draw 100 pictures for your friends of things which make them smile.
- Tidy and terrific: Walk around your community and collect 100 pieces of litter.
Einstein was shut in a barn and left to die. Forgotten, scared and unloved. But look at him now! He's such a good, reliable boy that he often helps our newly rescued horses to settle into their new lives as part of the HorseWorld herd.

We’re delighted to be part of this event, to celebrate the life of a man who did so much to help make the world a better place.
'I've always believed things will get better. The sun will shine again, the birds will sing and we'll all have a lovely day tomorrow,' - Captain Sir Tom Moore.
Please get involved and help us ensure the sun will shine again for the scared, vulnerable, unloved and abandoned horses, ponies and donkeys who desperately need us
