Rehome Me: Will
Will came to HorseWorld in January of 2002 from the RSPCA. He went on to be successfully rehomed, where he lived for many years, but he sadly had to return to us at the end of 2020 through no fault of his own. He is a lovely little pony that can be a little wary of new people, but once he gets to know somebody and builds that bond he is a real sweetie and is easy to do. He is great to catch, groom, pick out his feet, bath etc. He is very friendly and can live in a mixed herd. He can either live out 24/7 or be stabled as part of a routine.
Will gets very stressed if he is ever left by himself, so he must go to a home where he will always have a friend by his side. Due to his breed, he is very prone to weight gain and has had laminitis in the past, so must be kept on very restricted grazing through spring-autumn. To help manage his weight, Will can be taken for in-hand walks and lunged occasionally (no more than once a week); He is very active for his age and would love to go wandering around the lanes with a friend.
We’d like to find this very sweet pony a loving forever home.
