Rehome Me: Nova
Nova came to HorseWorld in 2015 as part of a large group of feral ponies. She was very nervous of people and would go to the opposite side of the field as soon as someone went in. It took many months of very consistent, patient handling to gain Nova’s trust and increase her confidence being around and touched by people.
Nova is now able to be caught, have her feet picked out and she can be seen and/or treated by the farrier, the vet and the dentist. She is still quite nervous of new people and situations but would really thrive on a loan home with an experienced person who would be willing to build a one to one relationship with her. Nova is happy living out all year round but due to breed she can be prone to weight gain and so needs restricted grazing in spring and summer months.
