Break in at the charity headquarters

HorseWorld staff were faced with an attempted break in when arriving at the charity’s headquarters on the morning of Wednesday 27th November. Intruders had smashed a window and tried to prise open the locked window frame.

“Luckily, thanks to being disturbed by our security guards and alarm system, they didn’t manage to get any further than breaking the window.” Said HorseWorld’s Managing Director, Mark Owen. “They’ve done a lot of damage which is obviously a blow for anyone, let alone a charity.”

Police are keen to talk to the two youths clearly seen and recorded on CCTV entering the farm at 2.22am and leaving at 2.48am.

If anyone in the local area saw any suspicious activity, please contact HorseWorld on 01275 832425 or email

Donations are very gratefully received. Anyone wishing to make a donation following the break-in can do so here, thank you.
