Virtual Open Day
What an odd year 2020 has been. We would usually be opening our gates to the public several times over the summer for our much-loved Open Days. For obvious reasons, that wasn't possible this year. As you weren't able to visit us, we decided to come to you.... and we brought the whole herd!
On Saturday 25th July, we hosted a Virtual Open Day. On our Facebook page, we broadcast live links along with a series of videos we'd pre-recorded earlier in the week. The torrential rain played havoc with the live links but we persevered and we were able to bring you a really good insight as to what goes on in a busy working rescue centre. We were even able to take you on a tour of the farm by drone so you can see how the rescued horses live, in a beautiful, relaxing, natural setting, free to be horses in herds.
Below are all of the pre-recorded videos we broadcast throughout the day. We hope you enjoy them and if you're not already following our Facebook page, you can find it here.
