Trustees are the ultimate volunteers, donating time, skills and expertise to ensure the smooth running of HorseWorld. Currently 10 individuals drawn from all sectors of the community make up the charity's Board of Trustees:
Chairman of Trustees: Mrs Jennifer Cooper
Jennie Cooper is now in her third year as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. As well as the work of a Trustee she carries out the majority of the homechecks for the horses and ponies that are on loan from HorseWorld. She finds this very interesting, and has made some good friends. Jennie has kept ponies and horses for many years, but the only one she has now is a 32 year old ex-eventer which was ridden by one of her daughters. Flower arranging, cooking and horse racing are her other favourite pastimes.
Vice Chairman of Trustees: Mrs Pam Kemp
Pam Kemp has a background in tourism and catering with a local tourist attraction. Other voluntary sector experience includes having been a Cub Scout Leader and also an Assistant District Commissioner in the Scout movement. Pam also has a keen equine interest and enjoys helping with competitions at a local riding centre.
