Monty is a shire cross throughbred bay gelding, standing at 16.3hh. Monty is an ex-Police horse, named after the sections' farrier, Monty Ball. He was retired to HorseWorld in November 2010.
Since retiring to HorseWorld, he has been enjoying the freedom of the fields, enjoying meeting new friends, and being able to run around as he pleases. The Grooms hope that Monty will settle in well and spend many weekends and school holidays at the Visitor Centre meeting the public.
