Hear from us when we have new rehoming horses
Sam was born at HorseWorld in May 2016. His mother came to HorseWorld in August 2015 while pregnant. She was from a very large rescue where there were many family groups of stallions, mares and foals. All of them were very nervous of people and as some of the older horses were highly reactive it has taken a long time to work through the group gaining their trust.
As Sam was born here he has been used to people handling him right from the start - although his mother was very nervous of people so he was not halter trained until after weaning at 6 months. He has been a quick learner and is a very friendly pony both with people and other horses. He has been trained to receive basic handling but is now at a point where he may become 'over friendly' so is looking for an experienced home where he can continue to be taught to respect people and have boundaries.
As Sam is too small to be backed at HorseWorld we are looking for a companion home or a home where he can be brought on to ride or drive when he is old enough.
