Rehome Me: Jack

Jack came to HorseWorld in 2015 after being found straying on the road. He was suffering from severe wounds that were likely caused by very harsh handling while harness racing. He also had several old wounds that suggested he had been involved in some sort of accident in the past.

Jack has been continually assessed by the chiropractor since his arrival and unfortunately, despite making a full recovery from his wounds, the damage to his joints and muscles from such hard work at a young age is so extensive that he will never be able to carry a rider. He is therefore looking for a loving loan home as a non-ridden companion.

Jack is easy to do in all ways and, once in a routine, can be left alone for short periods of time so could make a good companion to a ridden horse. He gets on well with others and is happy living out all year round.
