Rehome Me: Dolly

Dolly came to HorseWorld in March 2012 as part of a large group of neglected feral ponies. As with most of the group Dolly was underweight, pregnant and fearful of people. She gave birth to a healthy colt in May who has since been successfully weaned and rehomed.

When Dolly arrived she’d had little previous handling and a fairly nervous temperament. When she gave birth she became a little defensive of her baby but this gradually improved and has disappeared since weaning. However she still does not like being overly handled so would not be suitable for someone looking to fuss and pamper their pony!

Although Dolly could be stabled if absolutely necessary she does not enjoy being confined so we are looking for a home where she can have year round 24/7 turnout.
