Rehome Me: Ella
Ella was born at HorseWorld in 2009, her mother is part bred Dartmoor who came to us through the RSPCA, her sire is an Anglo Arab. She was weaned at 6 months and has spent her time living in mixed herds at our welfare yard.
Ella was backed at an equestrian centre as a 4 year old but found this environment too stressful and was returned to HorseWorld and given the winter off. The following year she came back into work and was rehomed to a ridden home but was quickly returned as she did not settle. She was given another year off and gradually bought into work but it has become apparent that she has physical issues that make her not suitable for ridden work.
This sweet pony is now looking for an understanding home as a companion only, she is looking for a quiet place where there is not too much hustle and bustle and where she will always have the companionship of another horse. She is quite highly strung but is easy to do if she has her equine friends nearby. She can live out 24/7 without hard feed as she is a good doer, but will need a rug in wet weather.
