Hear from us when we have new rehoming horses
Dreamer is a very pretty young mare who was rescued by HorseWorld along with a number of other neglected animals. Arriving as an emaciated yearling Dreamer had a few years to mature and recover living out in mixed groups. She is a real character and is certainly a favourite with the staff. She enjoys human company and happily stands for cuddles and ear scratches.
Dreamer did receive training to bring into work and reached the stage of hacking out and being ridden in walk, trot and canter in the arena. Unfortunately Dreamer did not take well to ridden work; she gradually became more anxious and demonstrative in her displeasure. Since being turned away she has once again relaxed and returned to her sweet natured self so we are now looking for a non-ridden only home.
Dreamer can be little over confident when handled, this may be a result of the intense treatment she required as a youngster. She would make an ideal family pet but does need boundaries and will require a confident handler.
Dreamer needs restricted grazing due to her size and type but has no history of laminitis.
