Hear from us when we have new rehoming horses
Billy came in with another pony called Ted in 2007 when their owner was no longer able to care for them for health reasons. He spent many years out on a loan home but sadly his loaner passed away and he returned in February 2017.
Billy is a super sweet natured boy and a firm favourite with the staff. He has equine Cushings disease (PPID) so is prone to laminitis. During the summer he lived on our track system which allowed him to have plenty of exercise and companionship but no access to grass.
Billy could potentially go onto another loan home but it would have be with somebody that was very knowledgeable about looking after ponies with metabolic issues and willing to pay for his daily medication.
