Alice is looking for an experienced loaner who would enjoy calmly getting to know her and building her trust.

Alice was rescued by another equine charity with her foal. It was assumed that she had never been handled as she would not allow anyone near her. Once her foal was weaned she came to HorseWorld to learn to be handled.

Alice has a lovely gentle temperament and has never shown any aggression. She can now be caught, brushed and have her feet picked out when in the stable or barn. Unfortunately she is much more nervous when outside and cannot be caught in the field but will easily follow another horse in or will follow a scoop of feed. We are still working on getting close to Alice in the field and she will improve with the right handling.

Alice would make a lovely companion in a small yard where she could bring herself in from the field. She is not a straight-foreward pony to handle but will reward the right loaner by building a one-on-one relationship and improving her trust in people.
