When are you open?
April 1st to October 31st seven days a week, 10am-5pm (last admission 4pm).
November 1st to March 31st, Tuesday to Sunday 10am-4pm (last admission 3pm).
We shut 24-26th December and 30th December-1st January inclusive.

What can you do at HorseWorld?
There is an opportunity to interact with the animals as well as learn about them. We have hands-on animals to meet you.
Indoor and outdoor play areas (with a soft area for under 5s) and there are picnic areas, a shop and restaurant. We have daily presentations and handling sessions as well. We also host tractor tours and creative workshop (call 01275 540173 for details about our special activities and events).
How long should I allow for a visit?
We recommend you allow three hours.
How much does it cost to visit?
Adults £6; Seniors & Concessions £5.50; Children (3-15) £5; Children under 3 are free; Families (2 adults and 2 children) £20. Please call 01275 540173 for group bookings, special events etc.
Are dogs allowed in?
Yes, we welcome well-behaved dogs however they must be kept on a lead at all times.
What facilities are there for the disabled?
We have three wheelchairs and one electric scooter available for free hire.
Visitors are advised to phone in advance to secure their availability. There are disabled toilet facilities in the Visitor Centre and 95% of the site is wheelchair-accessible as it is flat and has concrete surfaces.
Only the gravelled Natural Trail may present some problems for disabled visitors.
What does HorseWorld do?
We are an equine charity that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes horses, ponies and donkeys. Our Visitor Centre is a window on our work, allowing the public to see what we’re up to and bringing us much-needed funds.
Do you provide riding lessons?
No. As we are an animal welfare charity and most of our animals are rescued or retired, we don’t offer rides or provide lessons.
However, we do offer a lot of animal interaction, including touching our friendliest equine guests and grooming them.
Can you cater for children’s birthday parties?
Yes we have a room available and can cater for a minimum of 10 children. Call us on 01275 540173 for more details.
